Through drumming, movement, call-and-response, and ensemble playing, participants discover how individual parts can come together to create something bigger. Programs are designed to be welcoming, active, and accessible—even for people who have never played a drum before.

Rooted in the study and teaching of West African drumming traditions, Djembari brings music, cultural context, and participation together in experiences designed for schools, communities, educators, and organizations.
